About Mama’s Fudge
Thank you for looking through our website. My name is Laura Barber and I am the owner of Mama’s Fudge. I make delicious artisan fudge from our family home in Herefordshire and I am very fortunate to have talented family members that help contribute to a family business I am very proud of.
We primarily provide families with luxury treats for movie nights, weekends and gift boxes for celebrations but we also cater for parties, weddings, afternoon teas, hen do’s, sweet tables, corporate events and trade.
How Mama’s Fudge was born
Established in early 2020 Mama’s Fudge was born out of therapeutic baking and a very sweet tooth. Previously I was a foster carer and after my last looked after child left I had a void to fill so I started baking and my family could no longer eat all the fudge, the business was born and it has been the very best adventure. Despite a national flooding crisis and a global pandemic within the first six months of the business opening we have come to realise that food brings people together, no matter the hardship or obstacles we face, taking time to sit with loved ones and share the experience of good food is just beautiful. For these reasons I just love attending markets and meeting customers face to face and hearing their stories. Please see where we are next and come and say hello.
